The Pz.Kpfw. V/IV is a German tier 5 premium medium tank that was introduced in World of Tanks in 2011 as a reward for beta testers. It is based on a historical prototype that was produced by the Maintenance and Recovery Company of the 653rd Heavy Panzerjäger Battalion on the basis of the Bergepanther ARV and the Pz. IV turret. The vehicle was never used in combat, but it was tested and evaluated by the German army.
