The A-32 is a Soviet tier 4 premium medium tank that was introduced in World of Tanks in 2011 as part of the light pre-order package. It is based on a real-life experimental medium tank that was developed in 1939 as a competitor to the A-20. The A-32 had thicker 45 mm armor and was adopted for service, eventually evolving into the famous T-34.
The A-32 is a fast and agile medium tank that can reach a top speed of 70 km/h and has good traverse speeds. It has a four-man crew and a 76 mm gun that can fire either AP or HE shells. The AP shells have decent penetration of 66 mm, while the HE shells have high alpha damage of 164 HP. The A-32 can switch between these two types of shells depending on the situation and the enemy armor. However, the A-32 also has a long reload time of 4.1 seconds, so it needs to be careful not to expose itself too much.
The A-32’s survivability is not very impressive, as it has low hit points (550 HP) and weak armor. The hull armor is only 35/30/16 mm, while the turret armor is 35/35/35 mm. The A-32 can be easily penetrated by most enemies, especially by HE shells and artillery fire. The A-32 should avoid direct confrontations and use its mobility and vision range (320 m) to flank and spot enemies.
The A-32 is a fun and dynamic medium tank that can deal good damage with its HE shells or penetrate weak targets with its AP shells. However, it also has some drawbacks, such as long reload time, low survivability, and mediocre gun handling. The A-32 requires skill and awareness to play effectively, but it can be very rewarding when used correctly.
